1kg pack containing approximately 60 sticks 1kg package

Rothenberger Rolot Brazing Rod - S2 for the repair, maintenance and joining of copper and copper alloys.

  • Melting Range 645-825 degrees C
  • Working Temperature 710 degrees C
  • Density 245,25 n/mm2
  • For warm and cold water, oil, liquid and natural gas and refrigerants.

Instructions:

According to the new DVGW manual GW 2, the ideal application is for working with copper tube. When soldering or brazing copper to copper tubes, the tube requires to be heated by means of a soft flame until it reaches cherry red in colour, at which time the solder can be applied to the jointing area. When soldering or brazing copper to brass or gun-metal, it is necessary to use flux in addition to the above. Excess flux requires to be removed with water upon completion of the soldering or brazing process.
