Armaflex EVO Pipe Insulation — Black Closed-Cell Elastomeric Foam

Armaflex EVO is Armacell's flexible closed-cell elastomeric foam pipe insulation for HVAC, refrigeration and process-equipment applications. Manufactured from flexible elastomeric foam based on synthetic rubber (FEF) in accordance with EN 14304, it combines low thermal conductivity, high resistance to water-vapour diffusion, low smoke development and built-in Microban® antimicrobial protection.

Installation

Install in accordance with the current ArmaFlex application manual. Solid tubes can be slid over pipe before final connection, or cut longitudinally where required for retrofit installation. Seal longitudinal seams, butt joints and fabricated fittings with a compatible ArmaFlex adhesive.

Armacell lists ArmaFlex ECO 550 and ArmaFlex 525 as certified adhesives for AF/ArmaFlex EVO; ArmaFlex 520 may also be used for tubes.
