Armaflex EVO Self Seal Pipe Insulation — Black Elastomeric Foam, 2m
Armaflex EVO is Armacell's flexible closed-cell elastomeric foam insulation for HVAC, refrigeration and process-equipment applications. The Self Seal tube is supplied pre-slit with a factory-applied pressure-sensitive adhesive closure, making retrofit installation around existing pipework faster and cleaner.
The closed-cell structure provides thermal insulation and high resistance to water-vapour diffusion, while the EVO formulation delivers low smoke development and built-in Microban® antimicrobial protection.

Installation
Install in accordance with the current ArmaFlex application manual. Open the pre-slit tube, position it around the pipe, remove the release film from the self-adhesive closure and press the seam firmly together along its full length.
The self-seal strip closes the longitudinal seam, but butt joints, bends, fittings and fabricated details still need to be sealed correctly using a compatible ArmaFlex adhesive. Armacell lists ArmaFlex ECO 550 and ArmaFlex 525 as certified adhesives for AF/ArmaFlex EVO; ArmaFlex 520 may also be used for tubes.
