Tubolit Domestic Pipe Lagging Kit — Everything You Need for Indoor Pipe Insulation

A simple, cost-effective kit for insulating indoor domestic heating and plumbing pipework. Tubolit DG polyethylene foam pipe lagging is the go-to choice for plumbers, heating engineers and homeowners insulating copper pipework in airing cupboards, lofts, and plant rooms.

Each kit includes the insulation you need plus aluminium foil tape for sealing joints and cable ties for securing the lagging neatly in place — no extra trips to the merchant.

Every Kit Includes

  • Tubolit DG Polyethylene Foam Pipe Lagging — your chosen pipe size, wall thickness, and run length
  • 1 × Aluminium Foil Tape 50mm × 45m — for sealing butt joints and overlaps to a professional finish
  • 1 × Cable Zip Ties — Bag of 100 — for securing insulation neatly on exposed pipework

Why Choose Tubolit for Domestic Pipework?

  • Designed for indoor domestic use — ideal for heating, hot and cold water, and plumbing pipework in residential properties
  • Pre-slit for easy installation — simply open, wrap around the pipe, and secure; no specialist tools required
  • Lightweight polyethylene foam — easy to handle and cut to length on site
  • Cost-effective — excellent value for domestic insulation projects without compromising on quality
  • Reduces heat loss and prevents condensation — helps improve heating system efficiency and protect pipework

Choosing Your Kit Size

Select the pipe outside diameter (OD) and insulation wall thickness to match your pipework, then choose the total run length you need. Common domestic copper sizes: 15mm (most common), 22mm (mains/central heating), 28mm (larger heating circuits).

Not sure which thickness to choose? For standard heating pipework in heated spaces, 9mm wall is sufficient. For pipes in unheated spaces (lofts, garages), 13mm or 19mm is recommended.
