How to measure?

Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).

Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

HT/ArmaFlex High-Temperature Pre-Slit Pipe Insulation – 2m Lengths

HT/ArmaFlex is Armacell's flexible closed-cell EPDM elastomeric insulation for high-temperature and outdoor pipework. Supplied here as a pre-slit 2m tube, it is suited to retrofit installation on solar thermal systems, hot-gas lines, steam lines, dual-temperature pipework and other services where standard elastomeric insulation is not appropriate.

HT/ArmaFlex has very good resistance to UV radiation and can be used outdoors under normal conditions. Where the installation is exposed to severe weathering or mechanical damage, use additional protection appropriate to the application and follow current Armacell guidance.

Installation

Open the pre-slit tube along the longitudinal seam and fit it closely around the pipe. Seal the slit, butt joints and fabricated details in accordance with the current ArmaFlex application manual using ArmaFlex HT625 High-Temperature Adhesive.

HT/ArmaFlex's UV resistance means additional jacketing is not normally required solely for UV protection under standard conditions. For extreme outdoor exposure or where mechanical protection is required, follow the relevant Armacell system guidance.
