How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

ArmaFix AF is Armacell’s thermally non-interacting pipe support for refrigeration and air-conditioning installations. It is designed to help prevent condensation and thermal bridging at pipe fixing points and is dimensioned to match the AF/ArmaFlex and AF/ArmaFlex Evo ranges.
Product construction
- Two ArmaForm PET foam load-bearing segments embedded in AF/ArmaFlex elastomeric foam
- Self-adhesive closure for straightforward installation
- Painted 0.8mm aluminium outer shells which also act as a vapour barrier for the PET bearing segments
- Dark black finish

- Service temperature: -50°C to +110°C
- Reaction to fire: Euroclass E(L) for the pipe support itself
- Complete system with AF/ArmaFlex: B / B(L)-s3,d0
- Complete system with AF/ArmaFlex Evo: B / B(L)-s2,d0
- Practical fire behaviour: self-extinguishing, does not drip and does not spread flames
- Structure-borne sound reduction: up to 28 dB(A) in combination with AF/ArmaFlex
