How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

ArmaFlex Ultima Tape
ArmaFlex Ultima Tape (UD-TAPE) is the matching dark-blue self-adhesive elastomeric tape for the ArmaFlex Ultima low-smoke insulation system.
- Size: 50mm wide × 3mm thick × 15m long
- Colour: dark blue
- Designed for use with ArmaFlex Ultima tubes and sheets
- Used for compatible joint sealing and for the additional securing specified by Armacell on self-adhesive Ultima tubes
- Self-adhesive product shelf life: 1 year under the manufacturer's stated storage conditions
For bonded joints and fabricated sections, use ArmaFlex Ultima ECO550 or ArmaFlex Ultima 700 adhesive in accordance with Armacell installation guidance.
