How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

Tubolit DuoSplit 1/4" – 3/8" Pre-Insulated Copper Pipe – 25m Coil
Armacell Tubolit DuoSplit DZC-061088/E25 is a pre-insulated twin copper-pipe system for connecting indoor and outdoor units in split and multi-split air-conditioning, heat-pump and refrigeration installations. It combines soft-annealed seamless refrigeration copper tube to EN 12735-1 with closed-cell polyethylene insulation and a UV-resistant outer facing.

Installation
Armacell states that no special tools are required for installation and that the DuoSplit join-split system allows the paired pipes to be separated and rejoined where needed. The insulation should remain uncut along the full applied length and should be glued to the pipe at both ends; Armacell also recommends protecting the insulation tube ends with tape.
