DST Rubber Lined & Unlined Pipe Clamps - 13mm to 170mm
How to measure?
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
|←— OD —→|Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.
DST steel pipe clamps for mechanical-services pipe support, available in rubber-lined and unlined versions across grip ranges from 13mm to 170mm.
Choose lined or unlined
Rubber-lined clamps provide a cushioned contact surface between the steel clamp and pipework, making them suitable where vibration reduction, separation or protection of the pipe surface is required. Unlined clamps provide direct steel-to-pipe support where a plain metal clamp is appropriate.
Selection and sizing
- Manufacturer: DST
- Clamp types: Rubber lined and unlined
- Grip range: 13mm to 170mm depending on variant
- Application: Mechanical services, heating, HVAC, plumbing and general pipe supports
- Individual grip range, SKU and price shown for each variant
Select the clamp type and grip range that matches the actual outside diameter of the pipe or support assembly. Do not select solely by nominal pipe size.
Use with insulated pipework
Where insulation passes through a load-bearing support point, use a suitable insulated pipe support or load-bearing insert so the insulation is not crushed beneath the clamp. This helps maintain the required insulation thickness and, on cold services, the integrity of the vapour-control layer.
For threaded-rod or wall-mounted installations, combine with compatible M8/M10 support hardware, back plates or channel fixings as required by the installation.
