How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

Kingspan Kooltherm Phenolic Pipe Insulation – 1m Long
Kingspan Kooltherm is a premium phenolic foam pipe insulation offering one of the lowest thermal conductivities available in pre-formed pipe sections. Its rigid closed-cell structure delivers outstanding thermal performance at thinner wall thicknesses than mineral wool or elastomeric foam alternatives — making it the specified choice for space-critical commercial and industrial HVAC installations, and for compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations.
Supplied in pre-slit 1m sections with a foil vapour barrier facing. Available in wall thicknesses from 15mm to 50mm for pipe sizes from 15mm to 329mm outside diameter.

- Eco-Conscious: Manufactured without ozone-depleting CFCs or HCFCs, with low Global Warming Potential.
Applications
Widely specified for heating and hot water pipework, chilled water systems, and HVAC building services in commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial projects. Suitable for operating temperatures from -20°C to +110°C.
