How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

Installation
Install in accordance with the current Armacell application guidance. Longitudinal seams, butt joints and the protective outer overlap should be sealed correctly with the specified compatible adhesive system.
Do not assume the protective covering removes the need for correct sealing or suitable mechanical protection for every buried or exposed application. Project conditions, burial depth, surrounding materials and expected mechanical loads should be considered as part of the installation design.
