Manufactured from flexible elastomeric EPDM foam in accordance with EN 14304, it is rated for continuous service up to +150°C with exceptional UV resistance. Available in 10mm, 13mm, 19mm, and 25mm wall thicknesses for pipe sizes from 10mm to 89mm — the specified choice for solar collectors, HVAC systems, hot gas lines, and heat pump pipework.

Applications
Designed for thermal insulation of pipes, vessels, and ducts in solar collectors (including outdoors), heat pump systems, motor vehicles, hot gas lines, steam lines, and dual temperature lines. UV resistance and durability make it ideal for external pipework exposed to sunlight.

Installation
For all outdoor installations, Armacell recommends bonding all longitudinal seams and butt joints using HT625 adhesive to minimise natural longitudinal shrinkage and maintain sealed joint integrity. Mechanical fixings alone are not a substitute for adhesive at joints. For sealing exposed joints and repairs, use Armaflex HT Solar Tape. Also available as a pre-slit tube for easier installation on existing pipework.
