How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

ArmaComfort AB Alu Plus Acoustic Pipe Insulation
ArmaComfort AB Alu Plus is a multi-layer acoustic insulation system from Armacell for wastewater, rainwater and sewage pipework. It combines a 2mm acoustic EPM-EVA barrier with an aluminium foil and 9mm decoupling elastomeric foam based on synthetic rubber.

Acoustic performance
Armacell reports mean system acoustic insertion-loss values up to 18dB(A) on Geberit Silent-db20 and up to 24.5dB(A) on 110mm NF PVC under EN 14366 testing. These test values are system-dependent and are not product specifications.
Applications
Designed for acoustic insulation of wastewater, rainwater and sewage pipes in residential and non-residential buildings. The aluminium covering provides very good fire performance and helps protect the system.
Installation
Armacell specifies ArmaFlex 520 as the compatible adhesive. Install in accordance with the current ArmaFlex application manual.
