How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

Arma-Chek Wrap — Self-Welding PIB Protective Cladding
Arma-Chek Wrap is a protective cladding material, not a thermal insulation product. It is designed to be applied over existing pipe insulation — both fibrous types such as mineral wool and stone wool, and cellular types such as elastomeric foam — to provide UV protection, weather resistance, and a vapour-tight outer finish. No adhesive or tape is required: the polyisobutylene (PIB) film self-welds to itself on overlap.
Supplied as a 70mm wide × 10m roll (ACH-WP70), giving 0.70 m² coverage per roll. Armacell carton quantity: 7 rolls.

Sustainability

Installation
- Apply directly over the insulation surface — no adhesive or tape required
- Wrap with a minimum 20mm overlap on each pass; the PIB self-welds to itself on contact
- The installation remains adjustable for approximately 10–20 minutes after application, allowing repositioning before the weld sets
- Apply between 0°C and +40°C ambient temperature
- Suitable for indoor, outdoor, underground, and underwater applications
- Compatible with both fibrous insulation (mineral wool, stone wool) and cellular insulation (elastomeric foam, ArmaFlex)
Storage
- Store in dry, clean conditions at 50–70% relative humidity and 0°C–40°C
