How to measure?

Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).

Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

Our ArmaComfort Barrier B is a high-density, self-adhesive membrane designed to reduce vibration and airborne noise. Available in two thicknesses to suit your project requirements:

1mm (4m² per roll) — Ideal for layering underneath thermal insulation without sacrificing valuable space. Each roll covers 4m², making it perfect for comprehensive van or vehicle conversions.
2mm (2m² per roll) — Provides enhanced mass-loading for areas requiring greater acoustic performance, such as wheel arches and bulkheads. Each roll covers 2m².

For effective soundproofing throughout your vehicle, we advise ordering between 4 to 8 rolls depending on your van size and chosen thickness. This allows for comprehensive coverage of wheel arches, side panels, and the bulkhead to create a much calmer interior environment.
