Armaflex HT Solar Pipe Insulation — High Temperature & Outdoor
Armaflex HT Solar is Armacell's specialist high-temperature elastomeric foam pipe insulation, designed for solar thermal collectors, heat pump pipework and outdoor installations where standard Armaflex EVO cannot be used. Rated for continuous operating temperatures up to +150°C and resistant to UV degradation, Armaflex HT Solar is the specified choice for solar thermal systems across the UK.
Like all Armaflex products, Armaflex HT Solar is a closed-cell elastomeric foam with a built-in vapour barrier, providing excellent thermal performance and condensation control alongside its high-temperature capability.

Armaflex HT Solar vs Standard Armaflex EVO
- Use Armaflex HT Solar when operating temperatures exceed +105°C, or when the insulation will be permanently exposed to UV/outdoor conditions
- Use Armaflex EVO for standard HVAC, chilled water, heating and plumbing applications up to +105°C in sheltered or indoor locations
