How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

Tubolit DuoSplit 1/4" - 1/2" Pre-Insulated Copper Pipe 25m Coil
Tubolit DuoSplit DZC-061288/E25 is Armacell's pre-insulated twin copper-pipe system for connecting indoor and outdoor units on split and multi-split air-conditioning, heat-pump and refrigeration installations.
The system combines soft-annealed seamless refrigeration copper tube to EN 12735-1 with 9mm closed-cell Tubolit polyethylene insulation and a UV-resistant polyolefin-copolymer outer facing.

- Copper tube sizes: 1/4" (6.35 x 0.8mm) and 1/2" (12.7 x 0.8mm)
- Insulation thickness: 9mm on both pipes
- Pre-insulated outside diameters: 24mm and 30mm
- Coil length: 25m
- Thermal conductivity: λd ≤ 0.036 W/(m·K) at 0°C
- Reaction to fire: B(L)-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1
- Service temperature: -50°C to +100°C; for use below 0°C Armacell advises contacting its Customer Service Centre
- UV resistance: rated very good by Armacell
- Refrigerants listed by Armacell: R-410A, R-407C and R32
- Maximum operating pressure: 159 bar for the 1/4" x 0.8mm tube and 74 bar for the 1/2" x 0.8mm tube
Installation
No special tools are required for the DuoSplit system. Keep the insulation uncut along the applied length where possible, glue the insulation to the copper at both ends and protect the insulation tube ends with suitable tape in accordance with Armacell's installation guidance.
