How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

Pipe support applications
Suitable for supporting compatible steel and cast-iron tube and for use as part of insulated pipe support arrangements. The dual M8/M10 boss allows the clamp to be integrated with common threaded-rod and mechanical-services support systems.
For correct selection, match the clamp grip range to the actual outside diameter of the pipe or support assembly. Where insulation passes through the support point, use an appropriate load-bearing insulated pipe support rather than compressing the insulation directly beneath the clamp.
