How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

Rockwool Duct Slab Foiled 40mm — 6m² Pack
Rockwool Duct Slab Foiled 40mm is a semi-rigid stone wool insulation slab with a reinforced aluminium foil facing, designed for thermal and acoustic insulation of rectangular and square HVAC ductwork and water storage tanks. Suitable for service temperatures up to 230°C, it is widely specified for air conditioning, warm air and extractor ducts in plant rooms, boiler houses and external installations.

- High temperature rated — suitable for service temperatures up to 230°C (foil face limited to 80°C)

- LUL approved — authorised for London Underground surface and sub-surface premises
- Zero ODP and GWP — relies on entrapped air for thermal properties, no ozone-depleting or global-warming gases
