How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

- Specially developed for cutting insulation material
- Ideal for Mineral wool and Duct Slabs eg Rockwool, Kingspan
- EPS - expanded polystyrene, cellular plastic up to 75 mm
- XPS - extruded polystyrene, for example styrofoam, up to 75 mm
- Handsaw has a wave-formed sharpened edge (WT teething) that allows it to slice through the material creating minimal waste
- Should be stored in sleeve for rust protection
- Comfortable two-component handle
- For cutting insulation material
- Wave toothing allows it to cut with minimal waste
