How to measure?
Measure the Outside Diameter (OD)
Pipe insulation sizes refer to the outside diameter of the pipe — not the bore (internal diameter).
Wrap a tape measure around the pipe, divide by π (3.14) to get the OD. Or use calipers across the outside of the pipe directly.

ArmaSound Barrier E 2mm Acoustic Barrier Mat
ArmaSound Barrier E is a high-performance, flexible acoustic barrier from Armacell for industrial noise-control systems. The black thermoplastic polymer barrier is loaded with naturally occurring minerals to reduce airborne sound transmission and improve the insertion loss of insulated pipework and equipment.

Acoustic performance
ArmaSound Barrier E is an integral component of ArmaSound Industrial Systems. The system can be configured to meet ISO 15665 Class C and Shell DEP 31.46.00.31-Gen Class D requirements and satisfies NORSOK M-004 acoustic class B when installed as specified by Armacell.
Installation
The material is flexible and designed for installation around pipework and equipment. Armacell specifies ArmaFlex Adhesive 520 or HT625 as appropriate, together with the fixing and jointing methods stated in the ArmaSound Industrial Systems installation guidance.
ArmaSound Barrier E is free of lead, unrefined aromatic oils and bitumen.
