22mm Qual-Pex High Density Polyethylene Barrier Plumbing Pipe Pre Insulated With Blue 25mm Wall Armaflex Tubolit Insulation.
The Qual-PEX ECO uses Armaflex Tubolit insulation of high quality and low thermal conductivity. It is highly effective in energy conservation and frost protection. It is non fibrous and creates no dust during installation or use. It has a durable PE-film covering allowing maximum protection against water penetration and maximum bonding with concrete. It is also designed to give mechanical protection for in-wall cavity pipelines, which includes resistance to building materials and has pleasing coating for exposed areas.
Qual-PEX is suitable for use in hot and cold water distribution systems, underfloor heating systems and central heating systems that are operated continuously at temperatures up to 92C at 3 bar pressure. Short-term overload temperatures up to 114C are permissible. For cold water systems Qual-PEX is suitable for use up to 12 bar pressure. For hot water systems Qual-PEX is suitable for use up to 6 bar pressure.
White Qual-PEXb crosslinked high density polyethylene pipe in coils and lengths. Manufactured, tested & certified according to BS7291 class S and DIN 16892. The pipe meets the requirements for Class 5 service conditions as specified in Table 1 of EN12318 for a service life of 50 years. WRAS Approved. It has an EVOH oxygen barrier within the pipe wall. Maximum service conditions of 92C at 3 bars. Short term overload of up to 114C.
Nominal wall thickness is; 10mm - 1.5mm/1.8mm, 12mm - 1.5mm/1.8mm, 15mm - 1.5mm/1.8mm, 22mm - 2.0mm/2.3mm, 28mm - 2.6mm/2.9mm.
Qual-PEX, Qual-PB & Qual-PEX Pipe-in-Pipe pipes meet the requirements of class S service conditions specified in Tables 1 & 2 of BS 7291 – 1 2001 which covers specifications for both vented and sealed central heating systems. Qual-Pex pipe also meets the requirements of Class S service conditions in Table 1 of ISO EN 15875-1 : 2003 for a service life of 50 years.
Tubolit S-Plus is the ideal solution to insulate in-wall plumbing pipes in a reduced space. It is flexible, easy to install and is provided with a special inner-foil which results in faster install times. The extruder manufacturing process helps Tubolit S Plus to regain its original cylindrical shape and the insulation thickness is optimised for use in limited space, while its robust, seamless outer coating ensures maximum pipe protection.
