1.2m Foiled Pipe Insulation Glass Lagging H/V section 168 x 50mm

Designed to provide thermal and acoustic insulation of pipework, Isover Pipe Sections are strong, lightweight pre-formed ‘snap on’ sections with a reinforced aluminium foil facing and a self-adhesive overlap to help ensure a strong vapour barrier.
Manufactured in 1.2m lengths these sections offer the opportunity for fewer joints than traditional 1m competitor product, helping to reduce thermal bridging. The consistent density and concentricity of Isover sections provides consistent thermal performance along the length of the pipe.

Isover Foil Pipe Insulation

Foil pipe insulation is designed to provide thermal and acoustic insulation of copper and steel pipework and consists of strong, lightweight pre-formed ‘snap on’ sections, manufactured from non-combustible mineral wool containing special water repellent additives.

Isover Foil pipe insulation has a factory applied reinforced aluminium foil covering, incorporating a self adhesive overlap, providing an effective vapour control finish.

Size:

Supplied in 1200 mm lengths in a range of standard bore inner diameters and wall thicknesses.

Fire performance:

The base mineral wool contained in Isover foil pipe insulation is rated non-combustible when tested to BS 476-4:1984 and achieves Euroclass A1 fire rating.

Service temperature:

The insulation can be used on pipework with continuous service temperatures of 250C and over. Where temperatures exceed 250C, consult with Saint-Gobain Isover Technical Department for design advice.

0.018 W/mK at 10 C mean temperature.
0.035 W/mK at 50 C mean temperature.
